The Market Research Society (MRS) is the world’s leading people-data research association with members in over 60 countries. Over the past seventeen years MRS members have gathered annually to celebrate the very best the industry has to offer at a dinner attended by more than 800 guests. You could call it the Oscars of market research.

In the category for Technology Innovation and Effectiveness, judged by a panel of experts from the Association of Survey Computing and the MRS, Datasmoothie has been announced as one of the two finalists!

We started our journey in early 2015 with little more than a code library to crunch data. The first indication that we were on to something came in February that year when Seedcamp, Europe’s most prestigious early stage investor, decided to become an investor. Since then we’ve worked tirelessly, in close association with both academia and the industry, on our mission to enable joyful storytelling with data.

Our mission statement is simple: Anyone, regardless of tech know-how, should be able tell beautiful data-driven stories online without the use of complex software or the help of web-designers and developers.

We’re incredibly pleased that our product and vision were so well received by the panel of judges that reviewed Datasmoothie and we look forward to the awards dinner when the winner will be announced.
