Do you know what your customers and prospects are doing right now?
Right now your customer is planning to buy a list of things that their loved ones want. They are planning on spending massive amounts of money. While they have their wallet out, don’t you want to get your product or service in front of them?
Now, how are your going to convince them to buy from you?
I have 3 easy things you can do to endear yourself to your prospect so that you’ll be on their mind while their wallet is still full and people are spending more time online.
1. Spend time in customers shoes- evaluate your customer’s experience. This seems fairly obvious but you need to do it constantly. As business owners and marketers we tend to make decisions that are best for us and not the prospect. We don’t mean to, it just happens. Notice I said prospect? I did that for a reason. The best way to market your product is to come from a place that doesn’t you sound like a salesman. We don’t mean for that to happen either but it does, so if your mission is to serve your prospect, your whole tone changes. What problems does your product or service solve? What are the complaints that your prospect has? What kinds of questions does your prospect ask you? When you take the time to gather this information, you will now have the power to truly help people. You can even “check out” some of your customers or fans on Facebook to help you.
2. Plan your posts. A business should plan its posts at least a week at a time. Not just because it will save you time to do it, but also because it allows you to make a congruent message with any other marketing you are doing. Prospects seeing you (meaning a sign, flyer, commercial, event, etc) and also see your Facebook post or ad, are more likely to purchase from you. Take time each week to plan great posts. Use all different quotes, videos, articles and images.
3. Make Facebook ads. If you have run ads on tv, radio, or newspaper, then you know it’s a huge production with a huge price tag. Advertising on Facebook is so easy and you can spend as little as $5 per day. Not only is it easy but you can tell Facebook what your buyer looks like and display your ad to only those people. Getting the word out about your product or service is always at the top of your mind. There is no better way to do that than using Facebook for Business.
If you’ve done #1 and #2 then you are ready for #3 because you have the information you need to make a great Facebook ad. If we are going to do this let’s do it right! Don’t jump into Facebook Ads Manager unless you have, because I don’t want you to waste any money. The traffic on Facebook is steadily increasing everyday. There is no better time to start. Let me know if you have questions. I’d love to help.
