If you think your Michael Kors watch was actually made by Michael Kors — no offense, but you’re an idiot. Think about all of the little details that go into making one watch. Michael Kors could waste their time trying to figure out how to do it themselves, or they could tap an expert like Fossil Group (yes, the one that makes Fossil watches) to do it for them. Which one do you you think they went with?
Same goes for a bottle of Ralph Lauren perfume. If you think Ralph Lauren himself is responsible for every fragrance with his name on it, then you simply don’t understand how complicated it is to create a fragrance in the first place. You know who does, though? L’Oreal, the licensing company that makes every single one of his fragrances, cosmetics, and skincare products.
