Instagram has added three new features to Stories. Users will now be able to insert links into stories and people will be able to click on them without leaving the app.
A “see more” button will be added to the bottom of any story with a link in it to avoid clutter.
The next new feature is mentions. Creators will be able to use @ to “tag” any other Instagram user in their story. Once “tagged”, the username will be underlined and tappable in the story.
The last feature is Boomerang, Instagram’s standalone-app that makes looping videos. When creating a new story, swipe from “normal” to Boomerang mode. It will only be available in stories.
