Distinguished Marquette alumnus Dan Fuss (Marquette Business ’55) has been honored by Morningstar as the nation’s Outstanding Portfolio Manager.

Morningstar’s annual Outstanding Portfolio Manager is touted as “an individual who has produced exceptional returns over the long term.” In a press announcement honoring Dan Fuss, Kevin Charleston, CEO of Loomis Sayles, hit on qualities all Marquette alumni can be proud of — excellence, humility and values.

We sat down with David Krause, director of Marquette’s prestigious Applied Investment Management Program at Marquette University, to get a glimpse of the make-up of our very own market maverick.
