I have never seen myself working in corporate America, which is not common for a business student. As I entered my senior year of college, I found myself lost, confused, and second guessing why I chose to be a marketing major. However, I did know one thing, I loved helping people, especially people in my community. I jumped on the internet looking for volunteer opportunities when I came across a non-profit organization seeking a marketing volunteer. Anxious, I filled out an application and set up an interview for the following day. The week following the interview, I began volunteering and applying my marketing knowledge. I loved volunteering and even more, I loved that my work was helping others in my community. I felt a sense of relief that I found my calling, non-profit marketing.
