As a music enthusiast I have been thrilled to see some of these ventures establish themselves as bold new alternatives in 2017 who are giving the power back to the artists, fans and music enthusiasts in a market which was once stagnating.
The diversity of ideas in this sector is truly remarkable, ranging from apps which get you on the guest-list to your favourite concerts to sites which allow real musicians to connect with professional producers online. Below are ten up and coming startups that really caught my eye, and from whom I expect big things in the coming year.
