It’s so powerful.

This concept of perfection vs. completion.

Because on the one hand, I believe that we have this inner desire to be perfect. This yearning to be the best of the best.

Whether that be due to the influence of sports, or parents, or whatever aspect of environment you choose, there is no arguing that it is powerful and influential in our daily lives.

When it comes to being an entrepreneur, however, I believe that one of these two concepts is toxic.

Can you guess which one?

Damn right.

Fucking perfection.

Listen. I don’t want to harp on anything negative. In fact, I focus hard on how to live my life in an incredibly positive manner. So negative thoughts rarely, if ever, have any welcome space with me.

But to drive the point home, I think is important.

Perfection is the enemy of progress.

Because when you attempt to achieve perfection, what happens is that you focus incredibly hard on attaining a subjective and unattainable thing.

Completion, on the other hand, is absolutely within grasp.

And a really short reach at that.

The power of completion is that you accomplish something.

And when you are trying to be heard in today’s noisy world (not over-generalize), it is vital to focus on developing a powerfully relevant image of who you truly and honestly are to your audience, rather than trying to “fake it ‘till you make it.”

So ditch your ego and just upload whatever it is you have.

I promise, it is much better than waiting.
