Everyday, you ought to give your mindset two options: You are either Winning or Learning. Today, I am both. When starting law school two and a half years ago, I never would have guessed this is the path I would end up on. Learning the value of entrepreneurship, leadership, and the power of using a creative mind has been an integral part of my law school career. I’ve learned how to create better opportunities for myself; I’ve learned how to appreciate the value of risk, and the value of faith. A large part of my personal growth over these past few years can be attributed to the value of mentorship in my life.

Here’s the thing: When you have a job where you are trusted to be a self-starter and creative in your role, you are easily inspired to perform at your greatest ability. I am constantly learning and growing. Having this sort of autonomy and freedom has allowed me to improve other areas of my life while still excelling in my professional career. I have learned to appreciate that both balance and consistency are key.

While I anticipate graduating law school just a few months from now, I am taking this opportunity to learn and experience the true grit it takes to be an entrepreneur. I am incredibly blessed to have had the ability and the resources to follow my dreams, goals, and passions in my 24 years of life. I am so thankful and truly inspired by all the amazing leaders I get to surround myself with. I intend to share my success and the insights I have learned with whomever will listen. I intend to live my best life, and I want to help you do the same.

Here’s the other thing: If you change your mind & you can change your life. Change your life, and you change the game. Be a game changer. That’s where you want to be. And remember, success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success. Follow your passions and take risks. You cannot win big, unless you try. I am on the Pursuit of Happiness creating my American Dream; I am encouraging you to do the same. Think big, dream bigger, practice positivity, and the rest will follow.
