1. Volume Up, Volume Down or Mute

3. Back to Home Screen or Previous Menu

To navigate back to your home screen, just press the ‘Esc’ key. You can also do that to get back to a previous menu.
4. Switching Subtitles On/Off
Shortcut Key: T
If you come across a movie that’s in another language but you’d still like to watch it, you can check whether it has subtitles or not by pressing ‘T’.
Shortcut Key: R
To rewind and replay an epic scene on your movie, press ‘R’. Pressing it once will rewind at twice the playback speed, while pressing it twice will increase that to 4 times the speed. If you’d want to rewind like a number of seconds back, use the left arrow key. It’ll move you back by about 30 seconds.

Stop a particular video’s playback by pressing ‘X’.

8. Fast Forward

To move past or move a couple of minutes forward on your video, just press ‘F’. Just as it is on rewinding, pressing it once will move the video forward twice as fast, while pressing it twice will move it four times as fast as the playback speed.
9. Audio control

Once in awhile you come across a video whose audio isn’t in sync with what you’re playing back. In such cases, you might have to adjust the audio speed so that you can make sense of what’s being talked about. To do this, press ‘A’ to delay or speed up until everything’s OK.
10. Switch Between Full-screen & Windowed Mode
You must have noticed that Kodi ordinarily opens in fullscreen mode whenever you launch it. If you’d like it to appear within a window, press ‘’. Use the same button to toggle between the two alternatives.
11. Zoom/Aspect Ratio
