  1. What do you find challenging about coding? I find it challenging when I don’t remember every single algorithm perfectly! I know that is silly, but I wish to learn them all to the T! I can dream right? 🙂
  2. Talk about a project that disappointed you. What would you change? To be honest, thus far I haven’t been truly disappointed with any projects, some have been super challenging, but It is exhilarating because it makes my brain think. I wouldn’t change a thing, I feel the Austin Coding Academy team has really done an excellent job with giving us all the tools we need.
  3. List three key things to consider when coding with SEO in mind. Improving web page loading time is key, my page loading time is important for a few reasons.First of all, if my load speed is too slow, Google will recognize this, and it will harm your ranking. But a slow website will also impact the way my website visitors engage with my pages. As a result, those negative interactions will hurt my ranking too. Producing high quality content is important. If I haven’t touched it since the day I built it, I probably won’t have a great SEO ranking right now.To drive more traffic to your website and increase its popularity, you need to give visitors a reason to keep coming back. My content needs to be high quality, recent, and relevant.Another factor that impacts my SEO ranking is so-called dwell time. This relates to how much time people spend on my website per visit. If my site has fresh, exciting, or newsworthy information, it will keep visitors on my page longer and improve my dwell time. Optimizing my images goes a long way!I’m referring to factors such as the file format and size.Huge images can slow your page loading time, which hurts your ranking. I need to resize or compress my images to optimize them.

4.List five or more ways you could optimize a website to be as efficient and scalable as possible. I have noticed that web fonts have become very popular in website design. Unfortunately, the use of web fonts has a negative impact on the speed of page rendering. Web fonts add extra HTTP requests to external resources. The following measures will help reduce the size of web font traffic:Use modern formats WOFF2 for modern browsers;Include only those character sets that are used on the site; and choose only the needed styles! One of the EASIEST ways to get more clicks is to add numbers to my title and description tag. Breaking up content with header tags is a huge deal! Plus, headers make everything look more appealing, which is always beneficial. If I start blogging it would be super for my websites, most people don’t realize is blogging also improves SEO rankings.Using outbound links on your website goes a long way, you can make claims, but it looks much better if you back them up.Given the prominence (and dominance!) of the mobile web, it’s critical to ensure that my website is mobile first. The paradigm of making desktop sites responsive for mobile devices must now be switched. The strategy should be to code for mobile users first and then progressively enhance the experience for tablets and desktops. Doing so will help reduce the number of unnecessary dependencies.
